Process | Stage 4

The glass is dusted off and removed from the sandblaster. The remaining mask material is removed and the glass is cleaned again. At this point you will see the final product. The piece shown here is a a piece of glass that has been sandblasted on the front of the glass panel as well as oil painted on the back of the same panel. There was a need for complete obscurity in this case so we created that by oil painting a gradated coloration from blue to lighter gray color.
